After reading the September Model Flying World magazine
article about my fellow helicopter pilot who had a accident when
I was there in Trentham 2024, I decided to design a Helicopter
safety barrier.
It ended up being 1800mm X 1200mm with two sides that folded
out, and a removable wheel so that the Barrier can be easily
moved .
With the Nationals and a Fun Fly safety was my main concern
even though we have only two Heli pilots at Wairarapa Model
Aero Club based at Hood Aérodrome .
