Radio gear stripped out
for fuel proofing.
U/C test fitted with shock mounting.

Slots cut into tailplane
and fin.
Fin slotted into Tailplane
to test fit. 6th February 2024
Tail group squareness
checked before glueing
using thin CA.
Elevator clamped and
stitch holes drilled 1/4
ins apart.
Triangular reinforcement Elevator and rudder
added then CA glued. attached using kevlar
thread stitched hinges.
8th February 2024
After fuel proofing with
3 thinned coats of
polyurethane varnish
a r o u n d e n g i n e
mounting and tank bay,
and 2 coats elsewhere,
OS10LA re-mounted
using 3mm bolts. 1oz
Tail group slotted into also tank refitted.
fuselage frame and CA
glued. Re-mount servos and fit
throttle control arm
which is then tested for
c o r r e c t r a n g e o f
movement.

Tailskid bound & completed. Battery
glued to tail using fitted rearward under
heavy cotton thread servos to obtain correct
with ca glue - NB care CG.
