     One  moreTug  that  I’ll  mention
     here  was  Sam  Laidlaw’s  Super
     Cub.  This  one  is  ¼  Scale  E-
     Powered and easily towed my 1/5
     scale K8 glider that was built from
     a  short  kit.  Sam’s  is  a  very
     practical electric conversion that I
     am sure would appeal to a wide
     variety of modelers. (more details

     As most of us only get to fly our
     scale  gliders  during  Aerotow
     events there were some exciting
     moments as a few got dialed in.
     My pretty lightweight K8 towed up
     OK, though a bit high on the tow,
     then tip-stalled badly on release.
     For a few seconds I thought it was going home in a trash  I certainly do not do justice to the range and quality of the
     bag. After some quiet contemplation I added a bit more  gliders present (and the pilots flying them). Sometimes,
