Modelair Hornet AMAC Rules
     The model
     1.   The Hornet is to be built to the plan that was drawn up
         by Modelair or M Poletti.
     2.   The following deviations are allowed.










          a. The use of a plastic propeller of the same diameter
           as the original balsa one.
          b. The use of alternative wheels.
     Flying
     3.   The competition is a precision event that has a target
         time set by the contest director in the range of 25-45
         seconds.
     4.   All flights are recorded in seconds and to the nearest
         tenth of a second
     5.   If the flight meets the target time it scores zero.
           Any deviation from the target time is added to score
         at a rate of 1 point per
           second. The model with the lowest score wins.
     6.   The best of three flights shall determine placings.
     7.   The closest scores over the best two flights will be
         used to break a tie.
