SIG
It's 2024 and we're off to a flying start in Control Line. A great 76th Nats
and the grass half of the Waikato Champs are already complete - the
tarmac half will be done by the time you read this. We've got a busy
schedule ahead of us again and in the near future it's the Whangarei
CL Champs in early March and the Taranaki Easter Champs to look
forward to. Get out there and enjoy it!
CL SIG Committee
At the Nats AGM CL SIG Chair Gerald Wimmer stepped down from
the job after several years as Chair and Secretary, so a new SIG
Committee has been voted in and now is the time to introduce the new
line-up. Many thanks to Gerald for his service.

As always the SIG is there to support the safe enjoyment of Control
Line flying in New Zealand, and features a broad range of expertise in
various fields relevant to our task. If you as a CL modeller have any
ideas, questions or concerns regarding our branch of the hobby, feel
free to contact the committee member of your choice to discuss.
Contact details are published on the CL SIG page of the MFNZ
website.
Goals for the year
As with any organisation, the CL realm always has a few things that
could use tweaking, upgrading or straight out replacing. Some of the
matters that have been raised in the last few years have become ripe
for action this year, so here's a short list of things we'll be looking to
resolve in the near future. Expect to hear more about some of them
and again, feel free to make your thoughts known to a committee
