here. Nigel McAnelly, who made the trek up from the South
Island, came in third.
Classic:
Owen Rogers claimed top honors in Classic, flying his
bright red Space Hound, which flew smoothly in the
sometimes-gusty conditions.
Kevin Barnes gave his OS-15 powered Peacemaker an
outing, taking second place. There were a total of four
Peacemakers and Flite-Streaks in action.
Mono-wheel takeoffs and landings were made possible by
the smooth surface, and some good points were awarded.

Overall Results:
Kevin Barnes continues to hold the top spot of the table,
with 4 F2B wins out of 4 events so far this season. Kevin
also holds second place, courtesy of a strong showing in
Classic, with 3 wins out of 4 events.
Chris Chambers holds third place, through a combination
of results and bonus points.
Mover of the Month: Chris Renton moves up from 13th to
6th place with his win in Whangarei.
An interesting point to note - This is the first round where
the Intermediate scores produce a different finishing order
to the F2B scores. This is because Intermediate scoring
treats all stunts with equal value, so being good at rounds
and inverted paid off for Roscoe. In F2B the K-Factors
reward the fancy shapes, and Gerald did better there. It
makes for an easier transition from the Sportsman/Classic
schedule to the F2B one.
