Dave Ackery has been promoting a new rubber indoor class, it%u2019s called P18. It%u2019s a sort of high performance Hangar Rat type model. Dave Jackson has put his excellent building and flying skills to work on the P18 and has gone out and set the first new record for this official NZ class. I hear a number of models are under way, some from the J and H Aerospace kits. There is even a rumour that the soaring guys will be flying them at the Nats, It should be great fun. Well done Dave.NDC continues go well. There are many simple Free Flight classes for like Aggregate basic sport models. Aggy is a highlight of the Nats but little flown at other times. There are a number of opportunities to fly Aggy in the NDC calendar each year and it is worth picking a really calm day, if you can and having a go. It%u2019s surprising what can be done with little wind drift even if you just walk. Give it a go.
