There was a close battle in F3E, but again, 200’s were
prevalent. Regrettably, Andrew Stiver had an altercation
with the ground and lost a model, costing him 1st place.
A huge “Thank You” goes out to everyone who helped
‘man’ the course, too many to name ~ we appreciate your
effort. A special thanks though to Lyndon Perry who
relentlessly did timing for the whole event, with some
frustrating challenges; to Tania Danks and Johnno on
No.1 pylon and Malcolm Court on No. 2 pylon. Thank you
also June Mercer for assisting with operating the timing
system.
Prize-giving presentation was held on the field at the
conclusion of racing.
Winners are grinners (Antony Wright wrote).
Thank you, Antony, for all the pics and daily reporting.
The AGM was held at the camp site with a markedly low
1st F3E Team King
attendance. Les King stood down as Chairman. Thank
you to Les for your dedication and the SIG achievements
during your tender. It’s been a pleasure to work with you
during that time. There were two nominations for
Chairman, one of which declined the nomination. It
became “stand up Dave Coleman” who was then

All-in-all it was a successful Nationals from both the racing
and social scene.
‘Camp Pylon’ had an extensive group of people ~ in
motorhomes, caravans and tents, enjoying relaxing
evening discussion and meals together with many fellow
modellers joining in.
Kevin Botherway and Frazer Briggs, with their team, did a
superb job organising the Nationals ~ Thank you.
